Rocket Software Appoints Darlene Williams Chief Information Officer, Phil Buckellew President of Infrastructure Modernization

WALTHAM, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Rocket Software, a global technology leader that develops enterprise software for some of the world’s largest companies, today announced that Phil Buckellew will serve as President of Modernization of Infrastructure and Darlene Williams will serve as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Buckellew and Williams step into their roles as Rocket Software continues to innovate at scale and solve today’s most complex infrastructure challenges.

Buckellew will be responsible for all aspects of Rocket Software’s Infrastructure Modernization business unit, which helps companies future-proof their technology. His responsibilities include global development oversight, product management and solution development. Buckellew will also help deepen and expand Rocket Software’s long and successful partnership with IBM. Buckellew joins Rocket Software from IBM, where he most recently served as General Manager of IBM Cloud Platform-as-a-Service and was responsible for driving overall product strategy, offerings, development and operations. in the IBM public cloud.

Williams has over 20 years of experience shaping IT strategies and delivering large-scale business and technology transformations across many industries. She first joined Rocket Software in December 2021 as interim chief information officer, a position covered by The Wall Street Journal. Previously, she held technology leadership positions at Arisma Solutions LLC serving large private equity firms.
