Turkey hits record shipments to 8 countries in May

(MENAFN) According to figures gathered on Saturday by the Anadolu Agency of the Assembly of Turkish Exporters, an umbrella group of the country’s exporter organizations, Turkey set new records for exports to eight countries in May.

Senegal, Dominican Republic, North Macedonia, Rwanda, Tajikistan, Cameroon, Costa Rica and Montenegro are just some of the countries to which Turkey has sent a record amount of goods.

Turkey’s exports to several countries have increased dramatically year-on-year, with some registering an increase of more than 200%.

While Turkey’s “alternative markets strategy” has yielded positive results, overall exports rose 15.2% year on year in May to more than $18.9 billion, compared to the same month last year. ‘last year.
