Galatasaray takes intel on Spurs star Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele could be offered the chance to move to Turkey this summer, with Galatasaray taking in on the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, according to a report from Media Foot.

Ndombele is a player Spurs really need to evolve to some extent in this window. Antonio Conte came to the same conclusion about the Frenchman as many of his predecessors and quickly lost faith in the 25-year-old.

He spent the second half of last season on loan. Unfortunately, his spell at Lyon didn’t prompt Les Gones to try to sign him permanently.

Conte continues to keep Ndombele on the outskirts of Hotspur Way. He did not participate in their pre-season tour of South Korea.

Obviously, the big problem for Tottenham is that Ndombele cost a club record. And he earns £200,000 a week in North London. Finding a buyer is therefore a real problem for the Spurs.

However, there is an interest. And Media Foot in France are reporting that Galatasaray could try to sign Ndombele on loan.

Unsurprisingly, they don’t have the funds to sign him permanently, with Spurs holding at least £42.5m.

Galatasaray takes information on Ndombele

In terms of football, it looks like signing Ndombele was a disaster for Tottenham. He showed flashes of his genius and was described as ‘magnificent’ by Jose Mourinho.

However, several executives have now given up trying to get out of Ndombele. And it certainly doesn’t fit Conte’s style. Interestingly, Mourinho is one manager who would like to sign him.

A loan is not ideal. And moving to Turkey could make it harder for Ndombele to do enough to convince a team to spend big on signing him permanently.

But it seems more important that Tottenham get him out of the club this summer to some extent. Maybe Galatasaray is maybe the part that helps them.
