Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Archives and Records Management at UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN (UCD)

The history school trying to name a lecturer/assistant professor in Archives and Records Management.

The successful candidate will teach in the professionally accredited Master’s program in Archives and Records Management and related certificate programs where applicable. They will teach modules covering areas such as records management and information governance, preservation of analogue and digital records, digitization and archival ethics, and supervise master’s theses. They will contribute to the management of the master’s program and more broadly of the School. In addition, they will have the opportunity to develop their research and can apply for seed funding programs. The candidate should ideally have, or be in the process of obtaining, a doctorate in archival science or a related subject and have experience in teaching at the university level.

Salary: 95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor Under The Bar (7944) €35,598 – €62,210 per year

The appointment will be made according to the scale and in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Finance.
