MONTEVIDEO — A man was arrested on a Kandiyohi County warrant at 7:49 p.m. Monday in Chippewa County. He was in custody at Kandiyohi County Jail as of noon Tuesday on pending charges that include theft and drug possession.

WILLMAR — A 46-year-old man checked himself into Kandiyohi County Jail at 2:24 p.m. Monday. He was in custody midday Tuesday with a pending third-degree drug charge.

GRANITE FALLS — A man who was arrested Monday afternoon in Yellow Medicine County on a Kandiyohi County warrant was transported to Willmar and into custody beginning at noon Tuesday on a drug charge.

KANDIYOHI – A request for assistance in recovering property was made at 3:16 p.m. Monday at Kandiyohi on the 100 block of Eighth Street South. According to the report, a 57-year-old man was arrested. As of midday Tuesday, he was in police custody with second-degree burglary charges pending.

WILLMAR — A warrant was served for a 34-year-old woman at Kandiyohi County Jail at around 7 p.m. Monday. According to the prison’s webpage, the woman was in custody as of midday Tuesday and faced possible drug charges.

ATWATER — A civil dispute that resulted in an apparently inebriated neighbor throwing firecrackers at the plaintiff’s door was reported just before 10 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue West in Atwater. According to the report, one party was warned to stop scaring neighborhood stray cats with firecrackers.

SPICER – An assault was reported at 8:49 p.m. Monday in the 13000 block of Green Lake Boulevard in Spicer. The assault allegedly took place earlier in the evening during a domestic incident.

WILLMAR – An assault was reported in the 1400 block of Southeast 12th Street at 10:27 a.m. Tuesday.

WILLMAR – A report came in at 5:13 p.m. Monday that pieces fell from a tractor-trailer and struck another vehicle on the Highway 23 bypass in Willmar. According to the report, a large piece of semi-trailer hit the windshield and the roof of a truck. The driver reported no injuries. The complaint was forwarded to the Minnesota State Patrol.

WILLMAR – A caller reported at 7:40 p.m. Monday that they were receiving text messages from a source claiming to be the FBI asking for money. The caller, whose address was not on the report, was asked to block the number.

WILLMAR – A caller in the 800 block of Southwest 17th Street reported fraudulent activity after receiving notifications about opening an electric account in Texas. According to the report, the caller said his personal information was stolen in 2005. The caller was advised to call authorities in Texas to file a report.
